Adding and Managing Switches¶
Overview¶
Wireless switches provide physical control over your lighting system. This article covers the types of switches available, how to add them to your network, and how to rename or delete them.
Switch Types¶
The Keilton+autani system supports several switch types:
Battery-Powered Switches¶

Note
Area sensors (CS107D, CS107S, BCS107) also count toward the 32-switch limit.

Adding a Switch¶
Step-by-Step Instructions¶
- Navigate to the Discover page.
- Tap Switches.
- Tap the + button in the upper left corner, or tap Click to add.
- The app begins searching for switches in pairing mode.
- Put your switch into pairing mode (see below).
- When the switch appears in the app, tap to add it.
- The switch is added to your zone.
Putting Switches in Pairing Mode — button combinations by model¶
Every switch is put into pairing mode with a two-button press-and-hold. The combination and the hold time differ by model, so use the table below rather than guessing.
The same combination usually factory-resets the switch
On most models this one combination does both jobs: it puts a new switch into pairing mode, and it clears the pairing on a switch that is already commissioned. Use it to add a switch, and use it again to recover a switch that was previously paired to another zone or app.
The combination follows the button layout, not the power source. Battery, photovoltaic, and line-voltage versions of the same switch use the same buttons and the same hold time — so find your switch's key count below and every variant in that row behaves identically.

Notes
- 7-key (WP1017S) — the two buttons are the ▲ / ▼ dimming pair directly beneath the four scene buttons (SCN1–SCN4), not the scene buttons themselves. Older documentation refers to these as "buttons 5 and 6."
- WP1018 family — the combination is documented as entering pairing mode; on a commissioned switch it also clears the existing pairing.
- WF20R — this is a plug load controller, not a wall switch. It resets with a single button held for 6 seconds, and the relay clicks to confirm. See Plug Load Controllers.
Pairing Indicators¶
- Blue LED flashes: Switch is in pairing mode
- Timeout: Pairing mode ends automatically after 30 seconds
- Cancel: Pressing any button exits pairing mode early
- Zone: A switch is added to the zone you are currently in, so make sure the correct zone is selected before you pair
Renaming a Switch¶
Step-by-Step Instructions¶
- Navigate to the Discover page, then tap Switches.
- Tap on the switch you want to rename.
- Tap the Settings button in the upper right corner.
- Tap the switch name in the upper left.
- Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Conference Room Entry").
- Tap OK to save.

Deleting a Switch¶
Step-by-Step Instructions¶
- Navigate to the Discover page, then tap Switches.
- Tap on the switch you want to delete.
- Tap the Settings button in the upper right corner.
- Tap the trash icon in the upper right corner.
- Confirm by tapping delete.
- Tap Back to return to the Switches page.
Troubleshooting¶
