Downloading and Navigating the App

Overview

The Keilton+autani mobile app is your central interface for commissioning, configuring, and controlling your lighting system. This article covers how to download the app, grant necessary permissions, and navigate its main features.


Downloading the App

The Keilton+autani app is available for both iOS and Android devices.

Download Options

  • iOS: Search for "Keilton" in the App Store
  • Android: Search for "Keilton" in Google Play

Note: The app supports most Android smartphones. Some models may not be supported due to hardware or firmware limitations.

After installation, enable auto-updates in your app store settings to ensure you always have the latest features and bug fixes.


Required Permissions

The app requires the following permissions to function properly:

Permission Purpose
Bluetooth Essential for communicating with lighting devices
Camera Enables QR code scanning for zone access
Photos/Storage Allows saving QR codes to your photo album

When prompted, allow these permissions. The app does not collect private data.


Before You Begin Commissioning

For the best experience, ensure:

  • [ ] Your device has Bluetooth 4.2 or later
  • [ ] Camera access is allowed for QR code scanning
  • [ ] Photo access is allowed for saving QR codes
  • [ ] Lighting fixtures are powered on
  • [ ] You use only one device during commissioning (using multiple devices may cause data corruption)

The Five Main Pages

The app has five main tab pages located in the bottom navigation bar.

Lights Page

The primary page for viewing and controlling individual fixtures. Here you can:

  • See all lights connected to the current zone
  • Turn lights on and off
  • Adjust brightness and color temperature
  • Access individual light settings

Groups Page

Create and manage groups of lights. Use this page to:

  • Create new groups
  • Add or remove lights from groups
  • Control all lights in a group together
  • Configure group-level settings

Switches Page

View and configure all wireless switches connected to your zone. From here you can:

  • Add new switches
  • Assign lights, groups, or scenes to switch buttons
  • Configure switch behavior
  • View switch status

Scenes Page

Create and manage preset lighting configurations. This page allows you to:

  • Create new scenes
  • Define light levels for each scene
  • Activate scenes with a single tap
  • Edit or delete existing scenes

Access additional settings and features including:

Schedule Set timed events for lights, groups, and scenes
My Zones Create, edit, delete zones; manage QR codes
Force Sync Manually sync data to the cloud
Circadian Rhythms Enable/disable circadian lighting
Light Info View information on all connected devices
Device Info Check external converters and sensors
Nearby Lights See all online lights in range
Motion Sensor Testing Test sensor functionality
Auto Calibration Calibrate daylight harvesting
Trim Settings Adjust high and low trim levels
Disable Bluetooth Radio Transfer control to another device

Understanding Light Status Icons

On the Lights page, each fixture displays an icon indicating its current state:

Icon State Meaning
Auto-off Light is off; will turn on automatically when motion is detected
Auto-on Light is on and operating in automatic mode
Manual-off Light is off and will stay off until manually changed or scheduled event
Manual-on Light is set to a manual level via scene or command; returns to auto after sensor delays
Offline Controller is not receiving power or is out of mesh network range
Blue Name This light is the connection point between your phone and the mesh network

All Lights Toggle

A default "All Lights" control provides a full system on/off switch, toggling all lights in the zone between auto-on and manual-off states.
